It is interesting to think of letters and notes as a form of media, but I really believe they are. A lot of books are even written in letter form where the entire plot is told through correspondence of letters. One of my favorites that is laid out like is called The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.
I absolutely LOVE letters. I write them quite often and when I receive them they are such a special treat. So go brighten someone's day with this form of media.
That is a really good book! It took a little while to get used to that style of writing, but once I had a feel for the characters it was a lot more enjoyable. I like how it feels like a little less formal style of a book.
ReplyDeleteI love letters too but can barely remember the last time I wrote one. Thanks for the reminder! Also, I loved the Guernsey book too! Every time I suggest it to someone they say, "What is the name again?" It is a really strange title but such a good book. I want to read it again when I have more free time.
